Dear colleagues working in adult education:

We would like to hear from you! Please take a moment to read about our initiative and take our survey - linked below.

A group of adult educators and researchers in Europe and North America, who work with adult migrants who are learning the majority language of their new country and have limited education and literacy in their heritage/home/native language, are seeking to establish an online hub of reading resources in the heritage languages of these adult learners. Our vision is that as adult migrants develop literacy in their heritage language, they will better be able to develop their language and literacy abilities in the majority language. In addition, their heritage language will be valued and can be further used in their families and communities.

We would like to find out which languages the adults you work with speak, what resources exist in these languages, and how they are being used by educators and communities. If you have knowledge of this or are able to obtain this information, we would be most grateful if you would complete this brief surveyIt will take only a few minutes, and it will make a substantial contribution to this effort.

It would be incredibly helpful if you could complete this by October 15. We will present the results in various ways, so you will be able to learn about what we learn.
