The 21st Annual LESLLA Symposium will be held in:

Brno, Czech Republic     August 20-22, 2026

This year's theme is:

Bridging languages: literacy, plurilingual repertoires, new languages

We are pleased to announce that the Call for Proposals for the 21th Annual LESLLA Symposium has been published. The symposium theme is: Bridging languages: literacy, plurilingual repertoires, new languages. As in previous years this Symposium will also be hybrid. We hope you will be able to join us at one or all of these options:

  • In-person: Friday & Saturday August 21 & 22, 2026

  • Virtual: Thursday, August 20, 2026

  • Deadline for submission panels or workshops: January 30, 2026. Notification of acceptance: February 15, 2026

  • Deadline for submission abstracts: February 20, 2026. Notification of acceptance: March 10, 2026
