The 21th Annual LESLLA Symposium will be held in:

Brno, Czech Republic     August 20-22, 2026

This year's theme is:

Bridging languages: literacy, plurilingual repertoires, new languages

We are pleased to announce that the Call for Proposals for the 21th Annual LESLLA Symposium has been published. The symposium theme is: Bridging languages: literacy, plurilingual repertoires, new languages. LESLLA's 21rst Symposium will be held in Brno (Czech Republic) from August 20 to 22, 2026. As in previous years this Symposium will also be hybrid. We hope you will be able to join us at one or all of these options:

  • In-person: Friday & Saturday August 21 & 22, 2026

  • Virtual: Thursday, August 20, 2026

  • Deadline for submission panels or workshops: January 30, 2026. Notification of acceptance: February 15, 2026

  • Deadline for subsmission abstracts: February 20, 2026. Notification of acceptance: March 10, 2026
