In Memoriam Heide Spruck Wrigley

The LESLLA Board of Directors announces with great sadness the passing of a long-standing member of the association, Heide Spruck Wrigley.

Heide passed away on 2025 November 29. She contributed enormously to the development of knowledge in the field of literacy and awareness of the importance of policies that do justice to LESLLA students. We remember her with great affection and gratitude.

Several LESLLA colleagues who worked closely with Heide are currently preparing a tribute that will honor her work and highlight the impact she had on the LESLLA community. The tribute will be added to this page once it is complete.
